PostHeaderIcon How do I set my BlackBerry to automatically delete messages?

I just bought a BlackBerry Curve 8320 on T-Mobile and am (slowly) learning how to use it to its full capabilities. This is my first smart-phone. One of the problems I had on my old phone which this replaced is that it had a lot of text messages on the actual phone which I had to go through and cleanup. I’m hoping this isn’t the case on this phone, because that was really annoying. I text A LOT and I would like the phone to get rid of them for me.

you cant automatically delete on any phone, but on the inbox, if you go to options, there should be a “delete all” option… i know how u feel tho because my last phone didnt have that setting. ugh…. i hated that…
