Go to settings and put your Blackberry in mass storage mode(or similar wording), it might even ask you when you first plug the phone into the comp. Then you can drag and drop files just like a memory card.
Plug your BB in to your computer using a USB cable. When your BB prompts you to enable Mass Storage Mode select YES
Open Windows Explorer and open your the BlackBerry folder (your BB will be shown as a removable disc) then open the music folder.
Drag the songs from the music folder to your desired folder on your laptop’s hard drive
If you are not being prompted to enable Mass Storage Mode do this:
Options icon – Media Card
Media Card Support: On
Mass Storage Mode Support: On
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected: Yes or Prompt
Press the menu key and select Save
All I want to do is transfer my pictures from my phone’s memory to my laptop. I have plugged it in, downloaded the program, changed the mass media mode to “on” on my blackberry and still nothing shows up as an option under my computer folder. My comptuer doesn’t read my blackberry as anything, and if I use the BB desktop manager, it tells me to turn my mass media mode on. I have restarted my phone, my computer, done it over and over…it just tells me to turn on mass media mode and hit retry. It’s already on and I don’t know what to do. I have read a few things that say I need a media card, which I don’t have in my phone. However, all of pictures are saved on the device memory. Do I need to go buy a media card just to transfer over pictures that aren’t even saved on the media card?
