I have a blackberry storm and I’ve used window media player before to add music to it. But now when i try and do it with my new laptop it wont work. It says it detects my blackberry but it still say please connect a device on the sync screen. Can someone please help?

I currently have a blackberry 8700g.I would like to get windows media player on it.If i cant is there a codec to play wmv files on a blackberry?
